Iceland Plug Adapter

USA->Iceland electricity?
My friend is taking a trip to Iceland and I want to get her an electrical converter/adapter. However, I don’t really know the difference between all of the different things.
CAn someone PLEASE suggest to me a (relatively cheap-20 bucks or less) system that will let her plug in her things (hair dryer, straightener, alarm clock, etc)? I think I need a converter as well as an adapter, but I’m not sure.
The normal electric current in Iceland is 220 volts and we use type C or type F plugs.
Most electric appliances in the USA are made for 110 volt, so your friend needs a converter that transforms the 220 volt electricity into 110 volt electricity, in order to use her electrical appliances in Iceland. She also needs a plug adapter so that she can plug into type C or type F sockets.
I cannot recommend any specific brands, but I’m sure it’s possible to find cheap ones.
